Korkeakangas

The Korkeakangas wind farm is located in the municipality of Karstula, Finland. The wind farm consists of 9 wind turbines with a maximum height of 230 meters and total capacity of 45 MW. The estimated annual production of the wind farm is 140 GWh which is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of about 28,000 households (5,000 kWh/household).

The investment decision to construct the Korkeakangas wind farm was made in January 2020. The construction work began in Spring 2020 and was completed in 2022. The wind farm was handed over to Aquila Capital, a sustainable investment management and asset development company, in June 2022. OX2 is responsible for the technical and commercial management of the wind farm.
