Åkers styckebruk

OX2 AB is developing a large-scale, ground-based solar energy plant at Åkers-Styckebruk in Strängnäs municipality, Södermanland county, in collaboration with concerned landowners. The project covers approximately 40 hectares of land and, when fully developed, will be able to produce approximately 30 GWh of electricity per year from renewable solar energy. The project is estimated to be ready for operation in 2026, provided that permission has been obtained. OX2 AB intends to apply for a voluntary environmental permit for the planned solar energy plant.
