A wind farm takes shape
This film shows the different stages in the construction of an onshore wind farm – from planning and groundwork to fully installed turbines generating electricity.
The example comes from Klevberget Wind Farm in Ånge Municipality in Sweden, but the process is similar for most wind farms.
Construction of Klevberget began in February 2022. By autumn that year, roads and foundations were completed. During 2023, the turbines were assembled and installed, and in November 2023 the wind farm was commissioned and started delivering electricity to the grid.
Klevberget Wind Farm has been handed over to its owner, Renewable Power Capital (RPC). OX2 continues to be responsible for the technical and commercial management.
