This film shows the different stages in the construction of an onshore wind farm – from planning and groundwork to fully installed turbines generating electricity.
Construction of the Niinimäki Wind Farm in Pieksämäki, Finland, began in 2022, with turbine assembly starting at the end of September 2023. All turbines have now reached pre-assembly height, and the first five have been erected to their full height of 250 meters. Once complete, the wind farm will feature 22 turbines with a total capacity of more than 145 megawatts.

She and the Australian team have secured an onshore wind project in Western Australia, with a planned capacity of up to 1 GW. In this interview, she discusses what makes Western Australia an attractive location, project specifics, and what’s next for OX2’s wind expansion in Australia.
