Green Breeze

OX2 developed and constructed the Green Breeze wind farm on a turnkey basis for investor Nala Renewables.

In September 2026, the project was completed and handed over to its owner, becoming OX2’s first project in Romania to reach commercial operation. The wind farm is now fully operational and supplies renewable electricity to the national grid.

Located primarily in the municipality of Cuca, Galați County, Green Breeze consists of 16 Vestas V162-6.2 MW wind turbines, with a total installed capacity of 99.2 MW. Estimated annual electricity generation is approximately 312 GWh, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of nearly 51,000 households.

The completion of Green Breeze marks a significant milestone for OX2 in Romania and demonstrates the company’s ability to manage the entire lifecycle of a renewable energy project – from development and construction through to completion and handover. The wind farm makes a long-term contribution to expanding Romania’s renewable energy generation capacity and supporting the country’s energy transition.

OX2 is responsible for the technical and commercial management of the project.
