About the project

The Isoniittu solar power project is located in the municipalities of Hausjärvi and Mäntsälä in respectively the Kanta-Häme and Uusimaa regions of Finland. The project site covers approximately 110 hectares.

The project has a planned capacity of 60 MW. Once completed, it is estimated that the solar farm will have an annual energy production of approximately 60 GWh, which corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of approximately 12,000 households (5,000 kWh/household).

What’s next?

Project planning is underway and the aim is to have the investment decision to build the project in 2026. Construction work will start after the investment decision. The solar power farm is estimated to start operating in 2028.
