About the project

The Mörknässkogen wind farm is located in the municipality of Vöyri in Ostrobothnia, Finland.

The wind farm consists of 5 wind turbines with a total capacity of approximately 30 MW and an estimated annual production of approximately 100 GWh, which is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 20,000 households (5,000 kWh/household).

The wind farm is connected to the electricity grid in Herrfors.

The Mörknässkogen wind farm was constructed during 2022 and 2023. OX2 has been responsible for the technical and commercial management of the wind farm since late 2023. The wind farm is owned by the renewable energy company Low Carbon.
