About the project
The Rutki solar farm project, with a total capacity of 100.19 MWp, is located in the Niemodlin Municipality, Opole Voivodeship, in southwestern Poland, at the area of 78 hectares.
The Rutki solar farm is the first photovoltaic project implemented by OX2 in Poland and within the entire OX2 Group. It is also the Group’s first groundbreaking project worldwide made by OX2 as an Independent Power Producer – in IPP model.
The farm operates under a 15-year CfD (Contract for Difference) agreement with the Energy Regulatory Office and has secured financing from NORD/LB bank, which invests in renewable energy projects.
The Rutki solar farm will generate approximately 108 GWh of electricity annually — enough to supply green energy to around 30,000 households each year.
In August 2025, the Rutki solar farm, the first built by OX2 in Poland, was granted a 20-year electricity generation license by the Energy Regulatory Office.

Sustainability
Sustainability
OX2 and our suppliers are guests in the local communities. For us, is extremely important to create dialogue with and show respect for the people who live and work in the local area. This includes transparent communication, creating local jobs, business sector development or financial grants through community funds or property tax, depending on the market and conditions in the area.
The expansion of renewable energy should not come at the expense of nature and it is not enough for us to mitigate climate change. We have long worked to minimize our negative impact on nature and are now taking decisive action towards our goal of nature-positive wind and solar farms by 2030.
Our projects are sustainable by design, from early planning to construction and management.
Rutki
In the Niemodlin community, where our Rutki photovoltaic farm is being constructed, we have purchased over 50 new above-ground and underground hydrants with mounting fittings. Our intention was to improve the safety of residents and firefighting infrastructure in the municipality.
At the Rutki photovoltaic farm, we also conducted fire drills for nearly 200 people. It was aimed at practical testing of the knowledge and activities of our subcontractors in the field of safety procedures and checking the internal procedures, as well as security systems of the facility.

Grievance and complaints
The grievance mechanism is targeted towards individuals, communities and companies who have feedback or concerns regarding our projects.
OX2 takes all complaints seriously and aims to acknowledge and resolve complaints promptly. A complaint is a formal expression of dissatisfaction made to or about OX2, related to its project development, construction, operation, or a staff member.
We acknowledge that anyone has a right to lodge a complaint and we will ensure that all the complaints we receive will be managed respectfully, objectively, and efficiently.
