OX2 has handed over the Riberget wind farm in Sweden to Future Generations, Fu-Gen, an IPP focused on empowering future generations through long-term renewable energy asset ownership. The wind farm comprises 11 turbines with a total installed capacity of 70 MW.

The yearly production from the wind farm is estimated to 210 GWh, which is a considerable addition to the growing region. The industry in the region of Västernorrland and Gävleborg will benefit from the added production, and it will strengthen the local companies' competitiveness.

- We are proud to hand over Riberget wind farm and contribute to strengthening the renewable energy supply. The project has been developed in close cooperation with the municipality, landowners, residents and our partner Fu-Gen. From the start of the project, we have had a strong focus on biological diversity and actions to preserve areas with high nature values and create biotopes for endangered species. We are also pleased to be responsible for managing the operations since it means we will be able to be involved in the area even after the hand-over, says Emelie Zakrisson, Country Manager Sweden, OX2.

OX2 will be responsible for the technical and commercial management of the wind farm. OX2 has 1600 MW of wind power under construction on 6 different markets, and is responsible for the technical and commercial management of renewable assets with a total capacity of 6200 MW.
