About the project
OX2 AB is developing a large-scale, ground-based solar energy plant outside Ljungbyhed in Klippan municipality, Skåne county, in cooperation with the landowner concerned. When fully developed, the plant will be able to produce approximately 70 GWh of electricity from renewable solar energy each year, which corresponds to the household electricity consumption of approximately 14,000 households. The completed facility will make a large and important contribution to the energy transition. The plant is expected to be ready for operation in 2030.

OX2 and our suppliers are guests in the local communities. For us, is extremely important to create dialogue with and show respect for the people who live and work in the local area. This includes transparent communication, creating local jobs, business sector development or financial grants through community funds or property tax, depending on the market and conditions in the area.
The expansion of renewable energy should not come at the expense of nature and it is not enough for us to mitigate climate change. We have long worked to minimize our negative impact on nature and are now taking decisive action towards our goal of nature-positive wind and solar farms by 2030.
Our projects are sustainable by design, from early planning to construction and management.

Grievance and complaints
The grievance mechanism is targeted towards individuals, communities and companies who have feedback or concerns regarding our projects.
OX2 takes all complaints seriously and aims to acknowledge and resolve complaints promptly. A complaint is a formal expression of dissatisfaction made to or about OX2, related to its project development, construction, operation, or a staff member.
We acknowledge that anyone has a right to lodge a complaint and we will ensure that all the complaints we receive will be managed respectfully, objectively, and efficiently.
Vad har hänt i projektet?
Efter samråd med berörda myndigheter, föreningar, organisationer, enskilt berörda och den breda allmänheten, samt efter framtagande av en miljökonsekvensbeskrivning, lämnade OX2 under 2024 in en ansökan om frivilligt miljötillstånd in till Miljöprövningsdelegationen vid Länsstyrelsen i Skåne län. Miljöprövningsdelegationens prövning av ärendet fortgår. OX2 bedömer att ett tillståndsbeslut bör kunna komma under sommaren 2025.
Det fortsatta arbetet
Parallellt med tillståndsprocessen fortgår OX2:s arbete med att planera och projektera anläggningen. Vi för också en dialog med elnätsägaren Kraftringen AB angående anslutningen av solparken till elnätet. Ett utredningsarbete pågår kring var solparken ska anslutas till elnätet och när anslutning kan ske. Mest troligt är det anslutningen till elnätet som styr när solparken kan driftsättas. Enligt den preliminära tidplanen kommer solparken att driftsättas kring 2030.
Dialog och lokal samverkan
Vi på OX2 värdesätter en nära och kontinuerlig dialog med er som bor och verkar nära den planerade solparken. Ni kan området bäst och sitter inne på mycket information som kan hjälpa oss att utforma solparken på bästa möjliga sätt.
Även om samrådsprocessen är avslutad är ni alltid välkomna att höra av er till oss med eventuella frågor, synpunkter och förslag. Vi tar även tacksamt emot alla tankar och förslag på hur vi på OX2 kan samverka med lokalsamhället i och kring vårt projektområde.
