About the project
SEC Renewable Energy Park – Horsham is a 118.8MWac project 5km east of Horsham central business district in Victoria. The site was chosen due to its proximity to the Horsham Terminal Substation, good road network access and flat land free from native vegetation.
OX2 are pleased to announce that the project has been sold to the State Electricity Commission (SEC). SEC - New SEC Renewable Energy Park 100% publicly owned
The SEC is delivering the SEC Renewable Energy Park – Horsham, one of Australia’s first 100 per cent publicly owned, utility scale renewable energy projects. The project will help accelerate Victoria’s energy transition to deliver renewable, affordable, reliable energy for all Victorians.
The SEC is working with developer OX2 to build the energy park in Victoria’s west, which was previously known as Horsham Solar Farm.
