About the project

Huittinen solar power project is located in the municipality of Huittinen in Satakunta region, Finland. The planned capacity of the project is 400 MW. Once completed, the annual energy production of the solar farm is estimated to be approximately 400 GWh, which corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of approximately 80,000 households (5,000 kWh per household).

OX2 acquired the project rights to the solar farm from Finnish solar power developer SAJM Holding in April 2023.

What's next?

The environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the project was completed in 2024. Zoning and other permitting processes for the project will progress during 2025. The final size of the solar farm will be specified during the permitting and planning processes.

    Huittisten aurinkopuiston asukaslehti

    Huittisten aurinkopuiston asukaslehti kertoo hankkeen tuoreimmat kuulumiset, tekee tutuksi hankkeessa työskenteleviä henkilöitä ja tarjoaa tietoa aurinkovoimasta. Lehti on jaettu painettuna alueen koteihin ja sen digiversioon voit tutustua alla olevasta linkistä.
