About the project
Ross River Solar Farm is a 116MW project located south of Townsville, Queensland. Development began in late 2015 and development approval from Townsville City Council was secured in 2016. In February 2017 the project reached financial close with Palisade Investment Partners acquiring the solar farm. The project secured a 13-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with EnergyAustralia, one of the largest single solar PPA's in Australia at the time.
