Kantinkulma

Kantinkulma solar power project is located in the municipality of Marttila in Varsinais-Suomi region, Finland.

The planned capacity of the project is 40 MW. Once completed, the annual energy production of the solar farm is estimated to be approximately 40 GWh, which corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of approximately 8,000 households (5,000 KWh per household).

The project has undergone environmental impact assessment (EIA) screening. According to the decision of the ELY Centre for Southwest Finland in autumn 2023, the project does not require an EIA procedure. 

What’s next? 

The project licensing process is currently underway and is expected to be completed in early 2025.
